Show Real Cost is made by Riverbend Crossroads Digital LLC, an Indiana company. Our background is in financial technology, including years spent building the systems that take consumer loan applications from first click to funding and servicing. The site exists because the true cost of a loan is rarely obvious from the payment, the rate, or the offer letter, and the arithmetic to find it should not require an account or an adviser.
What we are, and what we are not
- We make educational tools that compute on numbers you enter. We explain the method behind every result. We do not give financial advice.
- We are not a lender, a broker, or a marketplace. No lender pays us, and nothing on this site promotes a loan product.
- We never see your numbers. Calculations run in your browser, and the privacy page shows how that is enforced.
How the math is checked
Every calculation is a documented method with a worked example on its method page. The same examples run as automated tests before each release, so the published method and the running code cannot drift apart. Results are rounded the way lenders round, and each page states its known limits.
Corrections
If a result looks wrong, we want to know. Corrections are logged and dated on the relevant method page. A contact address will be published here once our mail handling has a privacy notice to go with it.
